Michael D. Panaro, Sr. is the founder, a Principal, President and the chief Technical Analyst. On his most recent project, a system to process 529 college savings plans, he was the architect of the system middleware and directed a staff of technical analysts and developers, and business analysts. He has been a management and systems consultant to a variety of large financial service businesses. He has performed systems analysis (structured and object oriented) and software design, directed development for a variety of software systems, performed vendor selection and budgeting and managed systems test and support groups. The areas in which this work was done were foreign exchange, derivative products risk management, money transfer, retirement plans, mutual funds portfolio management, credit scoring, land use management, shop floor management, health care, airline safety, cable TV, and sundry retail banking and accounting systems. Prior to founding MDP Associates, Mike spent a decade as regional manager for a systems consulting firm that developed and supported financial services systems. Mike began his career as a research physicist after completing a full undergraduate program in physics and mathematics at Boston College where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree, and also completing the same in the biology program at Boston University. He has a Masters degree in City Planning from Boston University and is ABD in Environmental Sciences at the University of MA, Boston. 

Judith D. Panaro has been a Principal and Treasurer since our incorporation in 1991. She attended Northeastern University and joined MDP Associates after many years in management positions at Boston Financial, Education Loan Services and ten years with State Street Corporation. She has experience in managing call centers, customer service groups and back end operation departments for various business lines including transfer agency, insurance class action processing, education loans acquisitions and retirement plans servicing.  Judith is one of our Business Analysts. In that capacity she has used her business and management experience to provide consulting services for start up companies, performed analysis for new systems, managed several projects and directed test teams. From her end user perspective she has documented system processes for presentation use, created user acceptance test plans and written user documentation. She has written and executed contingency plans and Y2K test plans.
